picked up another gun

Got a Olympic arms AR for 600 bucks brand new from my painter at the shop. He said he did not need it and wanted it to go to a good home. Did not need it but, the price was right.

great buy for you!!!! Have to say I am a little jealous. Like you, I would not need the AR, but how in the heck could you not pass on that deal?

p.s. welcome back, how was Baja? Were you racing?

good pick up. At the very least, you could probably make a profit if you ever wanted to sell it

Trip was great. No we did not race just rand some of the race courses as a means of getting to were we wanted to get. We tried to stay as clost to the inland side of the Baja as we could all the way down. Saw bad ass beaches and met neat people along the way

Pretty cool, did you get to fish for Dorado (SP?). I have heard there is no better fish as long as you eat it almost immediately. Did you guys drive down there or rent the jeeps?

THere was a movie I watched about 4 years ago that followed the Red Bull team down there. Absolutely bad ass. It had to be cool running the tracks, only you guys did not get any pit stops!!!

Yes we did get a chance to have fresh fish, however the type I did not pay attention to. It was a ugly white fish that had wonderful flavor.

We drove our own Jeeps. This was a group of my Dads friends whom live in Yuma AZ were he lives, so the border is close.

Running the course was amazing, just as amazing as the beaches we found were the cactus forests we drove through. The landscape down there changes by the moments as you snake your way through the open desert.
