Pics of my new additions
http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/grant22_2000/Guns%20R%20Good/CIM... The above pic is of a few new additions to the collection. The bottom left is a Ruger Single Six, mfr in 1962, and in extremely good condition. The lower right is a Ruger Single Six, mfr in 1955, and in well worn, well used, but not abused condition. Basically some of its blueing is gone. The gun in the box is a Ruger Blackhawk .357, mfr in 1972, came in the original box and interior bag. The Blackhawk is in near mint condition. I took them shooting today and I knew I'd like the Single Sixes (.22) but my surprise was that I loved the .357 round and .38 round in the Blackhawk. A really sweet round. I was also surprised at the accuracy of these pistols. These things are so neat and cool, they may be my new favorites! Iron Maiden is my religion! |

i'm a big fan of the Ruger single actions too.they are tough but i have had 2,a Ruger Blackhawk in .357 magnum and my Super blackhawk .44 magnum, turned back into Ruger for warranty repair(lifetime warranty with Rugers),both came back with the original problem repaired and extra work done that i didn't ask for(one got a new cylinder). Both had Ruger gunsmiths go thru them and came back sweet shooters,i wouldn't get rid of them for nothing.
