i am more from the led zeppelin generation..
I'm sorry but Led Zep is sooo played out.Alot of people still listen to Zep, people even younger than me.Try TOOL
This is one of my favs from them they are performing on August 2nd in NH I am suppose to go, but I might not be able to.
Don't think much of Tool, but I'am down with the Fighters Of The Foo!
tool rocks, foo fighters are gay
another fav of mine heres 2 of my fav songs from them... and yes Aaron Lewis is a hottie.
try megadeth or pantera
Two great bands, but The Nuge rules them all!
Jimi Hendrix RULZ !
Jefferson Airplane, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, The Birds, Creme, Carly Simon, CCR and Iron Butterfly but for some strange reason between them they sold bazillions of albums :<)
I think my 40 licks is in my cd player now as a madder of fax.
Jimi is dead but he just told me you suck for saying that, his guitar licks are still hard to play,i don't know how many of you all are guitar players out here but i am and while i can play along with SRV somewhat(okay enough to annoy the neighbors a couple acres away),jimi is in aleague all his own,but i am more of a country fan anway, maybe if i dropped acid and smoked a lotta dope and got a white woman to gimme head....Nah...well...
and got a white woman to gimme head..
Hey cool, works for me!!
BTW, what country music artists you like?
like willie,waylon,johnny,etc.really like steve earl,junior brown,DAC,all 3 Hanks,newer stuff...shooter jennings,Brad paisley,keith urban.I guess idon't like that ballad shit but other than that if it's twanging,i'm there.
Now there's a gutair playing SOB!
he's no BOB WILLS
a FAN OF GARTH BROOKS' ROCK AND ROLL PERIOD.
YOU DON'T LIKE THE BALLAD SHIT SO I WON'T EVEN
MENTION RANDY TRAVIS.
Damn I hate that "CAPSLOCK" key.
I was a DJ on country radio stations and met
co-workers who were virtual encyclopedias of all genre
made dumb me feel humble & ignorant. Nothing new,
anyone who knows something about anything can
teach me a bunch!
Anthraxx!!!!!! great work out music and through in some Red hot Chili Peppers
ZZ Top.....Billy Gibbons! Awesome Licks, With A Southern Kick!
3 times so far the first was in 1969 or 70,they were the warm up band.
you gotta put Lynard Skinner at the Top of that list.
.38 special, lets not forget this great southern band
"Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd" Yeah The Kick Ass!
stevie ray vaugne is in the team picture
going to say so...
country rock the black crows are...and now back to guns.
great album for humping.: made in japan.
great guitar man..: ritchie blackmore
now if a dumb ass redneck like me knows that, the rest of you ought too
Okay, he played with lots of distortion. He doesn't hold a candle to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, or Carlos Santana. You people left out Metallica (everything pre-sober James Hetfield. They suck now), Disturbed, Static-X, and Manowar. You want great workout music? Try Indestructible and Down with the Sickness by Disturbed, Push It by Static-X, and Of Wolf and Man by Metallica. Those are a few in my workout playlist, along with a bunch of Dr Dre, Ice Cube, Busta Rhymes, and Eminem. I cock my Glock, Biotch, true dat. Word. See? I'm down with the lingo G-moneyhomeboycashchangecha-ching.
Santana to Hendrix? If this were
A soap commercial, "which shirt came
out whiter" would you say
"Of course, the blue jeans did!" ?
BUT, I do like Clapton and San Tanya :<)
Abraxis was a great album.
Maestro Steve Howe of YES rules them all. Nobody, not even Hendrix, who ryo love a lot, could play 32nd notes on lead guitar except for two people in the world. Steve Howe and Maestro Todd Rundgren. YES and Rundgren rule! now for modern stuff ryo listen to lot music from Nihon and most of you probable not familiar with JRock and JPop, but there are some great bands out there and some really fantastic music too. and why is it that Lynard Skynard Band alway get leave out from these discussion and Rick Derringer and Eric Clapton and Crosby Stills Nash and Young ka "Old man take a look at my life. I'm a lot like you were!" Neil Young. love to listen to the music of my pops, but also love the music of own generation from nihon too. also like Toad the Wet Sprocket, B 52s, Semisonics, Staind, Taking Back Sunday, and also love Ted Nugent and Ladysmith Black Mombasa, and lot other groups probable the older people here might appreciate too. it very kewl growing up with Ironkoji for a pops.
You're quite a guy, "Pops"
must be very proud of you.
I think the guy is a great American and I would love to have him as President and a huntin' buddy, but his music is long, drawn out garbage. So sayeth me, and anyone who disagrees is wrong.
you and ebear should have santana music in the background at your wedding neh ka LOL! j/k seriously though, what you think of santana ka.
Ivan, did you decide on a camera?
just to busy to mess with it right now..wait till the phones get turned off
Make sure you turn it up!
but enjoy them when they're on.
If you read my earlier post you
prolly know I'm more into '70s
stuff but in some cases there
is very little difference, just
a bands individual sound. I could
see the Stones doing something in
My Buddy Stu is on drums
My Favorite song they do
are you totally retarded??? Jimi Hendrix had Eric Clapton and Pete Townsend shitting in thier pants!!! HE WAS MUCH MORE THAN DISTOrTION.Having said that Freddy King The Texas Tornado was one of the greatest Guitar players i've ever heard.
Awesome performer.....pretty sure he's killed someone though!
Anyone who listened to a full album of Hendrix
knows he was a musician, not just another
then you also gotta add Roy Clark
but Charo, can really play guitar, classical. Not a rocker. Hootchie coochie girl. Segovia wasn't too bad either. Don't forget about Perry Come...LOL Joking
i saw her on mtv and she was very good.
What about Disturbed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVL9PD3sN7M
They are ok I don'tlike all there stuff.
and jammed to it. LOL!
nothing cheezzy about def lep. they rock. I've seen them live 4 times, the last time being last week in phx w/ poison and cheap trick. some of the best rock bands are from the 80's... foreigner, reo speed, eddie money, scorpians, whitesnake, def lep, stxy, even journey.
Hang on I got one for ya.
i was close to Vermont stations were limited.
of a well-timed M2 .50 cal and the concussive bass of a 14 pound satchel charge.
Thanks pretty good I like the song I will look into more of their stuff.
