Prodigy Brake Controller ?
Bought one 2 years ago and never installed it. I need to now in order to take the trailer to Sturgis. The installation looks pretty straight forward but my question is about how to set it up for my sized trailer. Anyone have one of these? Thanks guys, It's too late for me, save yourself. |

once installed, a test drive around the block will tell you all you need to know.
I have my controller set on "20". nearly locks up the trailer brakes but not quite.

install it per instructions some need to be level some don't. Turn it all the way down and drive it around 30mph. with the trailer empty adjust the controller up so you can feel the brakes start to drag the car down when you apply the brake controllers brake lever, not using the car/trucks brakes.

cbx- you have to test drive with your trailer in a safe location and adjust it to suit your driving style.
