1) There will be NO special bi-lingual programs in the schools.

2) All ballots will be in this nation's language.

3) All government business will be conducted in our language.

4) Non-residents will NOT have the right to vote, no matter how long they are here.

5) Non-citizens will NEVER be able to hold political office.

6) Foreigners will not be a burden to taxpayers. No welfare, food stamps, health care, or other government assistance programs will be authorized.

7) Foreigners are permitted to invest in this country to the extent that their investment is at least 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.

8) Foreigners who buy land will be restricted to certain options, only: Certain land parcels, including waterfront property, are reserved for natural born citizens of this country.

9) Foreigners will not be permitted any protests, demonstrations, display of foreign flags, political organizing, or public criticism of the laws or policies of this country. Violation of this provision will lead to immediate expulsion from this country.

10) If you enter this country illegally, expect to be apprehended, encarcerated, booked, photographed, fingerprinted and deported as soon as that can be arrange. ALL ASSETS WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOU.

If you find these proposed regulations harsh and unforgiving, perhaps you would like to know they are the laws of MEXICO!!

Amen, my wife is an import but she got her citizenship

LLE,
Is 40,000 an arbitrary number, or is there a specific reason for it?

average of 50 pesos/day [about US 7 dollars], but how they picked 40,000, I am not sure. That would be a minimum of about $280,000,US, and that could assumedly be for something as small as a 90 X 100 lot. Seems arbitrary, but calculated to keep the riffraff out.

Alamo

I prefer Hertz. I seem to get better customer service. Alamo just seems so futile...
