QOD up for consideration
"No man is worth his salt who is not ready at all times to risk his well-being, to risk his body, to risk his life, in a great cause." - Theodore Roosevelt Roosevelt was a tough bird. Once he was shot just before giving a campaign speech. He delivered his almost 1 hr speech and then sought medical attention. |

That charge up San Juan hill was the real deal.. SAA for teddy, and he took out one or two by his self. I was reading about one of the military rifles that was excepted during his time in office.. True story, TR went over to Aberdeen, and was part of the testing procedure.. Pres himself ordered a couple changes on the piece. Not sure which one this was, and the son-n-law has the book, but remember reading this and thinking thats a guy whos "hands on".. and took cdr and chief serious..
