Question

Hey, maybe y'all can help me out. I've found an Olympic AR-15 on sale for $500 and I'm not sure if it's worth it. Anyone have any insight they care to share? Thanks!

Olympic arms

Matty,
I know of least 3 pre-ban Olympic Arms AR's. They are doing just fine, a little sloppy now, but after x thousand rounds I expect that. They are not as slick as today's technology, but they still function.
Everyone has their favorite brand, I have had minimal problems with the Olympic Arms brand. What is your plan for the rifle if you buy it? Have you handled it to see how it feels, any rattles or shimmies?

No rattles or shimmys that I felt yesterday, though I'm pondering going to have another look later today. Basic plan is to have it in case the shit hits the fan, maybe even hunt some small game with it. I was just curious if $500 was too much, about right, or a real deal.
