i never thought about it that way and i think its a valid point.i think any subject has two sides to it .but i also think you can find good and bad in either candidate and there views on allot of important decisions coming thier way.its gonna take us as americans to back whom ever wins this election and unite tobecome as one strong nation that we once were.

What has this guy been smoking? First off, a baby has no way to defend itself. Second, when we send someone into combat they are armed and they are not defenseless. A grow man or woman has the right to join the military. If you have to go to war that is part of decision you made. A unborn baby is not given a chance to chose, someone else is making the chose for them. If you don't want children keep your pants up or your legs close. The born has no one to defend them, if you are stupid.

Yes, I do still feel the same way! There are a lot of people that go to war and come back. When you are there you can defend yourself. A unborn baby has no one to defend them. If you don't want the child give the little one to someone who does. My wife and I have lost 8 chidren and would love to have a child. Just because they do not want the baby don't kill them.

Good points. Remember I'm not asking I'm just relaying something overheard on the CB. Truck driver's love this country and they are always fighting about something or another. Did you know that the government also has programs for truck driver to join because they driver everywhere, and they see alot of things.

i took the original post as .do i feel that the same people who are against abortions.don't have a problem with sending young people to mabey die. you said it was'nt the same, because the young people have a choice. I agree with you. i was asking you if a draft was implamented and the choice was then gone.would it then be the same?thats all...im sorry about what happened to you and your wife, and i hope things change for the better for you. there are allot of parents out there who don't give a shit about there kids.they should'nt have kids. people like you and your wife should.

As a disable veteran, who served his country. It makes me sick to hear from the younger kids that they did not ask to be here in the USA. But, they want someone else to do the fighting. If you want all the freedoms this country has to gives them you should be willing to fight for them. If not, you can leave.

A baby has no threat. Unless the mothers life is threatened by the pregnacy, the baby has no intention other to be born.
The cell begins dividing and without any intervention it is a human person individual.
The preamble to the constitution allows for life, liberty and the persuit of happiness.
We have a basic right to self preservation. Whether it be a resource depletion war in Iraq- to delplete the enemies ability to attack us or whether it is a basic right to survive and be born. Survival is our right.
We have a responsibility to defend ourself. So both answers are Prolife, defense and anti-abortion.

I just to throw this in...when i enlisted i took an oath, most of you know what that is. I then volunteered to go to somolia, as did 1/2 my platoon. I'm not saying everyone serving over there volunteered for that duty directly, but they did go over with the skills to be effective, and are doing a fine job at it. In my opinion if you have'nt served then you have'nt the right to voice your cowardice opinion.

I don't see not serving as reason for not having a voice...I think thats just plain arogance in your self. I would never think my 2 tours to Iraq as a Marine and seeing combat both times would put me above anyone. If everyone joined the military, we wouldn't be specialized, nor would we have the two sided community that we need to check each other.
