RANT!!!

I know I''m new here and I tend to keep my big mouth shut but this whole Caylee Anthony mess in Florida has got me pissed off! Adults have commited crimes against each other since the beginning of time and always will but when ya commit one against a defenseless 3yr old so that B*TCH mother can go out party and get wasted is where i draw the line. Caycee Anthony deserves the death penalty like no other, on top of killing her own child she wrapped her little body in a f**king garbage bag and threw it into the the woods and let her sit there for 4 months. It was like her daughter was just a piece of trash, when that waste of human flesh gets the death penalty they need to throw the lethal injection option out the window and make that dumb B*TCH suffer!!!!

I couldn't agree more. It is unfathomable to me, how a persons brain, could even conceive such a horrendous thing. This is a Bitch that needs to staked out on the ground in Alligator Alley. Let the gators take care of this piece of garbage.

strange happenings

has anyone noticed how weird the surcomstances in this case have been? she left her daughter with a sitter in June, didn't report her missing til July.
the kid that found the remains had called the police 2 times prior, and they didn't find her. crimestoppers refused to pay this guy the reward because he called 911 and not them. when they started the crime scene, they wouldn't even let the guy who found the remains on the site. (typically the one who reported it would be there to assist in the info)
just really weird stuff in this case.

Yes, this is very sad and I know a lot of people who would loved to have a little one and can't have a little one themself like my wife and I. I agree with SamD about staked her out on the ground in Alligator Alley.

agree with all a y'all, IF she were tried by a jury of her peers and found guilty. But until then, as hard as it may seem to swollow, "innocent until PROVEN guilty". Otherwise, we are all a potential lynch mob, who would dishonor the law of the land.

LLE, well of course

Only after she is tried and convicted by a Jury of her peers. What do you think we are animals? Give us some respect for our intelligence albeit not as high as yours is!

My statements are not about disrespect, or your intelligence or mine. The speech in the posts, IMO, seems to reflect that the writers have already "convicted", before a fair trial.

we actually stand for the same things more than most of the time. However, you are probably accurate about some of MY speech. I apologize for talking "down", and I genuinely appreciate your feedback.

Law of the Land?

Lynch mobs would fix a lot. This land has too many laws.

Way too many laws,

but we have to work from within them and to change/eliminate the bad and or injust ones.

Staked out in Alligator Alley would be too quick. Disembowelment like the English did to the Scots back in the day would be better. that way a person could take their time and make her suffer every second of it.

Yes LLE, we have laws but we have a criminal justice system that also fails us everytime we turn around. Look at those who walk away due to a technicality.

i firmly believe that too. the circumstances in this case make you wander if the meter reading guy that reported it could have had something to do with it. that's why i say there are weird things going on here.

Caycee, the meter reader...I dont care!!! Whoever did that to that poor little girl needs to suffer WHEN CONVICTED. People who commit crimes such as this towards children are nothing but monsters that need to be taken from our society and sent straight to hell.

My thought

when i first heard about this i was broken hearted. Me and my wife watched the news a long time. The bitch mother should get the death penalty. Hell she should be put at the front of the line and get the worst death possible. Little Caylee is with god now.

I can't stop thinking of all the parents with kids over seas now, all they'd want is to see them safely home, to look at the TV and here this in the news, and at this time of the year...
We should all try to contact folks in the Services and wish them well, and home soon, Merry Xmas and all, it'd make them know we are pulling for them!

I don't think you should rely on newspaper reports for facts. You need to withhold judgement until the whole story can be discovered and told. Newspapers rarely get it right the first time and they go for sensationalism over rational thought. Just recently here a guy got into a fight outside a bar. He pulled a gun and attempted to shoot two women. They jumped him in the scuffle and beat him up. The newspaper told this in lavish detail, including the fact that he did NOT have a permit to carry and that it is illegal to carry into a bar anyway. The comments were universally condemning, suggesting this 'scum' be put away for life--very similar comments to some of those here. The 'outrage' was palpable.

Just today we find out he has been released from jail with time served. He pled guilty to 'lesser charges,' which I assume means failing to have a CCL and bringing the gun into a bar. It turns out there was another witness who corraborated his story. The gun fell out of his pocket in the scuffle. He never pointed it at anyone. He attempted to unload it so it couldn't be used on himself, etc. Then one of the primary witnesses, the so-called 'victim' that was about to be shot, changed her story and said he never pointed a gun at her at all.

This guy was guilty of much less than he was accused of. Had the populace gotten its way, this guy would have been lynched--quite unfairly. I agree that our criminal justice system leaves a lot to be desired and often fails us, fails the accused, fails everyone. But I'd much rather have that than a system whereby anyone who becomes outraged can dispense their own brand of justice based on their own perceived facts, whether or not they bear any similarity to the truth at all.

So what you have here is a bunch of people reacting to what they've been told by the media. They have no idea if these are the real facts. Experience should tell you that these facts have a high probability of being in substantial error. Would you rather have a system whereby the newspaper acted as the criminal justice system and you self-appointed yourself as the jury?

I don't know if any of you have been subject to newspaper scrutiny before, but let me tell you it is not pleasant to be under their microscope. My wife committed suicide by jumping off a bridge. Her body was never found. I was left with a 13 year old kid to raise. The newspaper suggested 'foul play.' The police stopped just short of digging up my backyard. The neighbors were 'outraged.' See what I mean? It took a whole lot of perserverance to stay alive during that time in my life

The 'righteously outraged' who feel motivated to take the law into their own hands because God and morality and justice and emotion are all on their side are scarier than many of the criminals in our midst. No thank you. The court of public opinion is bull shit.

Very well said. I hope to God no one here is ever falsly accused, and tried in the press, plus the "court of public opinion".

Here in Arizona, weather, wild life, and the simple fact that only 17 % of the state is actually populated, most bodies that are found in the desert are rarely identified, let alone do they lead to a conviction. Years of Mexican Nationals attempting to enter the USA via the desert, and you get to be a mini forensic from the multiple times it is reported here, that being that they often do not make it if they walk in, or the Coyote kills them and disposes the body where it falls.

Makes me sick

These media driven cases do not give all the facts out. These cases make me sick upset and worried about my own children. My daughter looks just like the missing/dead little girl. Makes me crazy worried.
But life is not valuable or respected anymore. Children are inconvieniences that interfere with material and enjoyable persuits. I see this with friends who want that BMW, vacation home and hot wife. Having a child is a responsibility and hard ass job. I am lucky I have a wife who puts the children ahead of her 'wants'. Most of these NY girls are all about themselves and thier wants.
I think we place too much emphasis on money and wants. We are brought up in school to not get anyone pregnant like its the end of the world. Abort the baby because it will ruin your life. This translates to making a child as a negative. The media runs a consumption style propaganda which tells us what we should have, what girls should look like, what we should eat.....none of which is real. Women feel bad becuase they will never look like the magazine girls. Fucked up
