Recoil Pads

Anybody out there use recoil pads when you're competition shooting? If you do, what kind do you recommend? And has anyone else heard of Sorbothane. If so, do you really think it makes a difference in the pads or inserts?

I'm not a pansy. Just kidding. I am a pansy. The only recoil pad I've used is a slip-on for my M4 made by Viking. It wasn't for recoil, but for grip. With the rubber pad on that M4 stock, the weapon stays on your shoulder.

Sorbothane

I've used it and I like it. It's been around for some time, but not all that popular. I've never understood the lack of popularity, because I think it works very well indeed.
