The sniper hands down. The sniper is trained in everything a recon guy is plus some. Sniper's are used for recon details much of the time when an expert is needed.

"Recon" guys are not specialized in demolitions, and the primary mission for military snipers is battlefield intelligence. HEY, THAT'S RECONNAISSANCE!!! It's a dumb shit question. They say the only dumb question is the one you don't ask, but you have just proven that adage wrong.

he was two years ahead of me (in so many ways). He used tire irons and his bare fists, I'm afraid. He was very smart. In class he was as normal as anyone else. You would never have known.

Recon and a sniper do the same thing just like runawaygun762 said. A sniper and Recon are the same person most of the time.

I play video games too. I love games on the military. For example: MGS series,Ace Combat Series,Tom Clancy Ghost Recon,Tom Clancy Splinter Cell. But dont worry im not crazy about Video games. But getting back to the subject. In a sniping mission you do what you are orderd to do. You may be out in the feild one day or one week. Sniping is an art in my veiw,because you can make many shapes with the brains of an enemy.
