The .308 is very good round, however shooting it in an AR platform will get very expensive real quick. You can find a good priced AR-15 and buy a .22 conversion kit. That way you can shoot for a fraction of the cost and practice, practice, and practice some more. So far, you've got a great collection going.

but use it for hunting (AR10) tho you will fire it sighting in :>)
