Anybody happen to have one of these or ever shot one? If so, what do ya think? Worth buying, and if so what cal. would you recomend. 243 or 308?
From what I have heard and for the money you are better off buying the DPMS rifle's instead of the Remington. DPMS is $300 to $600 cheaper and a better rifle.
oneof there similiar weapons doesnt come with a dust cover. yeah they are cheaper but they are also lacking in certain areas.
fordvg is right you can buy any other AR15 and be better off. A good freind got caught up in the buying frenzy when the Messiah won the election. He bought a R-15 and hates it, and I have shot it and feels cheep and flimsy at best. Their pretty camo you can stratch off with a finger nail. He has yet to find ammo that feeds properly, and the accuracy is not great either. You could buy a bottom shelf AR and get two times the gun.
I have one in .308 and its not at all what it has been discussed as. the trigger pull is a common feel. the camo is mossy oak and it feels like it weights ten pounds but its definetly a deal for me. i have been trying to find the perfect sights for it. i have looked at all sorts of scopes. Any suggestions?
what are you using it for? what ranges will you be shooting? whats your budget?
