I am thinkin about buying a semi-auto, camo, AR-15 style rifle for varmint hunting(coyotes).Does anyone know anything about Remington's new R-15 VTR .223 varmint hunter rifle? do you like dpms panther arms cause if you buy a remington ar series rifle thats what you will be getting with a different name on it but i saw a magazine article on em' and with the camo paint job sweet!

If DPMS made an AR in Camo, I would go that route for sure, but remington and bushmaster are the only ones who do.

and remington are owned by the same parent company so hence the r-15 is a camo dpms

the funny thing that almost no one knows is that there are only a couple
manufactures of actual AR/M16/M4 parts. in todays market it is far too expensive to manufacture your own parts than to have someone else do it for you. DPMS doesn't even make all their parts. basically most products
in the AR line have someone else's name on them. Colt, Lewis Machine & Tool, and Oly Arms supply most ALL uppers and lowers. Most AR barrels
are made by either Wilson Tactical or Mossberg.

to see people get all goo goo over the r-15 and in the end it is a dpms with a nice paint job but nothin wrong with dpms either
