.243 with a 100gr bullet designed for heavy skinned animals will do fine for deer.
I have no experience with the Remmy woodmaster but it should be just fine.
Good luck!

Do you have any load data for a 60gr bullet in a win .243?
My books don't show anything below a 70gr and my notes from long ago got damp in storage and are illegible.
I have speer #10
Hornady #3
and my Nosler is not with me but also has no 60gr .243 listed.

yep, still here. I should mention I have IMR 4350 and IMR 4064 already.
If it'll cut down on trying to type too many different powders.

for a 60 grain Sierra HP:

IMR 4064: 40.0 gr. 3476 FPS 43,600 CUP ---------- 43.8 gr. 3766 FPS 50,400 CUP

IMR 4350 is not listed

This data came from the Hodgdon 2008 Annual Manual

I accept no responsibility for incorrect data.

Thanks, that'll give me a good starting point.
Other powders, my ruger seems to prefer the 4064 and I've got plenty on hand.
