Does anyone have a Ruger LC9? If so how well do you like it? I am thinking of getting one for conealed carry. Any advice on holster for LC9 would be helpful too. |

Nitris
I have two LCP's not LC9's and like both. The nine will be perfect for conceal carry as well as the LCP.

why buy just one, when you can have two?

Where did you buy them? 2 for Tuesday gunshop and live bait?
Come to think about it Nitris, you do have two hands, why not carry two guns?

I got one a few weeks ago. It is fantastic. Shoots good, feels good in the hand. It does have a long double action trigger pull, but is okay once you get used to it. very light, very concealable. I have a blackhawk IWB holster for it, which is fine, but am waiting for a custom IWB holster from another manufacturer. I don't have a lot of experience with guns, but it seems to be a great buy.

Hello- welcome- I do not know about the LC9 from Ruger, and know it is a long trigger pull and you will get used to it as anything else. There used to be a standard for that trigger pull that bothers so many on this site, but there is a gadget that actually shortens any trigger pull and easily attaches and detaches. I think the trigger pull is perfect for a post I wrote on some women not used to shooting guns for home protection and being double action showed them to pull halfway and site the person or noise to make sure they were in fact shooting an intruder instead of a family member or dog. When pulling the trigger halfway a light comes on and illuminates the person or object so they can be sure before finishing the job. The question- My Cousin is a chief of police near Atlantic City New Jersey and a Swat team leader and instructer for the jersey state police. They almost all have went to kimber for their first weapon, and as a second and off duty Gun a ruger Lcp. and they all buy from a concealed carry Holster on the internet,, just got to that concealed carry weapon or holster and pick where and which one you would prefer. They use an ankle a lot while on duty and if car duty a crossdraw type that is undectible, and ther are some fitted with velcroe ( not cheap) stuff that will reconfifgure to a shoulder holster and ankle or waist cross draw. I have that one myself he sent as a gift. He said there will be about 4 sites and all will tell you which is better or cheaper just by looking. I hope his helps you out, & you can always build your own with all the different Velcrow. I prefer the ankle myself. JC

I will be getting an LC9 next year...I usually wait a year after a new gun comes out to make sure they get the bugs out first
