Ruger LCP Semi-Automatic Compact Pistol
I recently purchased a Ruger LCP supposedly used from a KC gun dealer. All the packing, instructions, and box were brand new. The gun looks brand new. The action is stiff to pull back. What type of oil should I use to loosen it up. The gun that won the west wasn't registered |

any good 3 in 1 will work. I use either remington, S&W lube and protectant, or hoppes 9. sounds like you will have to break it in to loosen it up.

Rem-oil.

suggest you try Breakfree CLP and about 100 rounds of shooting time , most autos do require range time before they work good

i agree with all of the above

It is a spray-on dry lube that works wonders. it is a lube, but it also makes carbon removal much easier and you will never have a smoother action. It costs about 8 bucks a can, but is worth it.

Be sure to check that it has been repaired by Ruger. They issued a recall on the LCP. Here is a link to check out if you own the LCP....
