I just picked up my Mark 2 pistol this morning. Found it for 300 hundred dollars used. Looks like new. I was looking at the mark 3 ruger, but this one is just fine for the little plinking that I will be doing at the range.

I fired 100 rounds through it and it is great. I am very happy that I bought it. The gun store owner was tring to sell me a new browning, which was also quite nice, but in the end I picked the Ruger. I had a 10/22 Ruger rifle that I used on the farm, never cleaned it, and it never failed me. I sold it and I still reget it. I live in the city now, so it makes sense to me to stick to handguns and go to the local range.

I am thinking of my next handgun which will be a 9mm. Ruger of course, but which one? I like the kp89.

Yes, I do and it is cold. -25 degrees C and with a wind chill that makes it feel like - 35 degrees C. Canada is O.K. but inorder to buy a handgun, you have to jump through alot of hoops. I guess it is a good thing. Which Ruger 9mm pistol do you like?

for a 9mm ruger... I like the P89. I used to have one and it was pretty durable

Just as I thought, I like them also. There is a XD-9mm at my gun range and it is about 800. The gun store owner has glocks and springfields, which he has warned me that they will be raising the price 30% in the new year. Canada dollar exchange I'm told. Now that it think about it, it sucks.

I don't think so. Its not his fault that the prices are rising. We have to get our guns from the USA so we are at the mercy of both governments. Canadian gun lovers just have to grin and bear it. I LOVE the USA as some of the finest guns are made there. Way to go !!

Hi,

I am also in the Saskatoon area, and I need to sell my Ruger MK II Bull Barrel. Because of the cost of memberships in local clubs, I can not afford to continue to own it and I would rather sell it than destroy it.

If you know anyone that qualifies to buy you can send me an email at darcypa at gmail dot com. I am looking for $300.00 as well.

This was my fathers, and It came to me when he passed away a few years back. It has not been fired in the last 5 years.

Darcy
