Thanks - that helps alot. I don't think it has been fired for over 25 years at least so I plan to have it checked by a gunsmith and then may use it as a carry weapon. If it is that old and worth anything I may just keep it as a collection piece. Thank you again

That is model #4 made from 1898-1907. Last S/N was about 220,000. Hope this helps.
