Savage arms

Pro's & Con's, was at tamp fl gun show today saw a 30-06 all black with scope new in box for around $400 and was woundering if it is like remionton's modle 777 30-06 ($400)? Made to open box shoot at range then go hunting.What one you think is better? TY

not a bad choice

on either one,although i lean towards the Savage Arms myself.

i tried being reasonable,i didn't like it, NRA LIFE MEMBER,USMC VETERAN

better quality for that price range.plus!buy a head space gauge for either the long(.30-06) or short action(.308)and for 179 bucks each you can rebarrel the gun yourself to any of the other cartridges that use these as their parent cases.30-06=25-06,270,35 whelen.308=243,7mm-08,etc.you will also need a 35 dollar barrel wrench.with the remington you need a barrel vise and some real knowhow to change calibers/barrels.

How close are you to Seattle??? Just wondering. A friend of mine just moved back there. He grew up there and came to Ky for some dumbass reason. I might B giving him a visit sometime. Prob not for a yr or so, but I was still wondering just the same....

DAMN!!!! I miss all the good shit!!!! LOL! Im enjoying the quiet tonight. My Old man went back to work today, and Im just hanging. I aint gonna do nuthin but eat a little something here in a bit, have a handful of cold one's and talk to ya'll!!! I'm also gonna PM Greg. He's been super sweet to me. Greg is one of the first that welcomed me and we have exchanged PMs quite a bit, he is a great guy gave me a lot of advice on what it taks to become a CO.
