SBR Tax Stamp

I sent my paper work off back in Sept, my check was cashed in late September, so I called a couple weeks ago to see where the ATF was on my status. I was told it will be 5 to 6 months before I get my stamp.........Don't look for it until April the lady said.........WTF? I thought it would take a couple months but not 6 months.

What troubles me now is I have 5 more I need stamps for in order to have them built..........Anyone else besides Hamp building SBR's?

not me

but according to a little birdie, 4-6 months is the going quote. It will sometimes show up quite a bit earlier.

No SBR's here

I am really not surprised that it's taking that long, it took almost six months for me to get my C&R licence, they are slow as hell.

I have thought about it but there are Russian AK 74u krinkov kits available. I would much rather have a nice sidefolder over anything Romanian made.
