scope rings and base question
i have a question i just got a millit TL1 scope it is 4x16x50 now it is going to be mounted on a savage model 111 i got a set of Burris Xtreme Tactical 1 Inch Medium 1/2 In Height and a EGW picatinny base with a 20 moa.my question is with this set up will i need to get a cheek pice to use it brian lott |

mount it just high enough so the bells of the scope clear the barrel and action and leave it at that.it is pointless to mount it any higher.unless your head is shaped like a horse's head...
