I am looking for a new scope to put on the HK41. I have been out of touch with the latest technology and need input. What I have is fine out to about 100m but I would like to shoot competitively in the future so something out to 600-800m range is what I would like.

I must check out to get my boy so I'll be back after the holiday.

Thanks in advance.

For this range it really depend on how much money you are willing to spend. Also do you have a Picatinny or Weaver rail mounting system on your upper receiver to mount optics? If so then you should check out the following sites and see if either Burris Optics or Night Force might have the type of scope you are looking for.

http://www.nightforceoptics.com/

While these are fine quality scopes and many of them are expensive they both have scopes that are good quality for the job you want in reasonable price ranges.

Hope everyone had a nice holiday and reflected on the freedom so many brave men and women gave us. Though I never served my brother was in the Army at Ft. Bragg. Go Airborne!

I would look at Leupold. I ordered a custom scope from them a while ago. My entire hunting party uses Leupold, we shoot out to 1000 yards and have no problems with the optics. Their customer service is awesome.
