Scotland Yard Warns London of Possible Mumbai-Style Attack
They expect an attack early next year. They're warning shop keepers and visitors of the danger but not doing the most obvious thing needed to limit any damage and casualties; fine or imprison anyone who goes to central London unarmed. Legally force civilians to carry guns, in the open, no smaller than .38 iyaoyas |

Thanks for making my time in Iraq better...I enjoy reading the posts on this website, by ordinary, concerned citizens (except Snake), he's really not ordinary, but rather special...very special!

looking at my bank deposits from that nice contractor pay would make my time in Iraq better. COME ON, RETIREMENT DATE!!! Need to get over there in 5.11s and facial hair like all the other contractors
Pkato
I accept that...but I do work and I am at my place of work 12 hours per day, 7 days per week with only 30 minutes for meal break and 15 minute break per my contract. I hate the contractors over here just milking the government man...trust me, I had 4 of them fired already. They are a drain to the taxpayer. If I am not needed, I will go home as soon as they tell me. Also, I did my 26 years man! Triple Canopy/SOC are hiring I hear--still! When do you retire Runaway?

I looked at Triple Canopy, I don't think I have the skills to pay the bills, nigga. One of the other things I'm concerned with is support from the companies. I know there are some of those companies who hire to fill the contracts, but have no real logistical abilities to support the PMCs once they get in country. I've talked to some of the civilian contractors on deployment and some of them get into Iraq ands have to beg, borrow, and steal ammo and medical supplies from the military, while a couple of the brits in Kirkuk actually had SINCGARS, current FH fills and our Net IDs so they could talk to us outside the wire. I would definitely take a smaller paycheck in exchange for working for a good company that supports its contractors. I'm pretty interested in a gig as a trainer for MPRI in Kuwait doing the training for units before they head north. I can shoot better than some of the guys doing the reflexive fire training, and even though they don't make as much as others, they work in Kuwait. Good money with low risk. Sounds good to me.

Kuwait was a good place to work...KBR pretty much is a big pain in the ass...good pay though, R & R good, and as a BRS employee I can contribute to 401K plan which got me 32 percent return last year!!! In addition to the 8% match on the 401k, I am also doing an additional 20 percent after taxes now...it adds up fast. I hear Fluor is also pretty good company to work for with one less R & R than us. Good luck though man...really, we could use good people, we already have enough idiots here.
