Hello folks,

I went to a firearms dealer the other day trying to sell my Smith & Wesson 908. They offered me a paltry $125 for it, which frankly I found insulting seeing how I bought it for about 4-1/2 times the amount. I reckon if I sell it privately, it should fetch quite a bit more. Does anyone know where I can find information on how to do this legally in California?

call your local poilce departments non emergency number. they will give you instructions.
at the least you should write up a bill of sale, get it signed by both parties, and make a photo copy of the purchaser's drivers liscence.

cali gun sales

i believe that because california is so tight on handguns you have to register the sale of your gun thru a dealer and you can get info on this thru nra
