Spent some time setting it back up and playing around with a few different thicknesses of leather. Should be fine on anything Gun, but I can't seem to get the stitch per inch set above 5, I'd rather on a holster, have 6 stitches per inch but, hell if all it will do since the refurb is 5 then thats what they get... :p

Anyway...

Should have my site up pretty soon, once I get some pictures of a few holters that were sewn on the machine. Hand sewing looks good, don't get me wrong, but there isn't anyway anyone is going to make a cleaner and tighter stitch by hand...

as in the "pre" machine ones.. Got my eye out for UPS Richard.. Wont mean anything for you "townies", but you get in the sticks, and UPS drivers get good treatment.. Sorta the everyday Santa if you will..

heh

I remember in Maine when a FedEx or UPS truck crested the top of the Hill heading up to the Junction people would call around and find out where it went. LOL

one day, maybe someone will see the hand sewn ones as something special, I doubt it very much. All I want to do is make good leather, that functions and lasts while not soaking people for it. heh...

But .030 is the most I would .

I've made some Holsters similar the Cross Breed, and rivited a couple and sewn a couple.

The only one I cared for I put together with eyelets and screws so that the holster could be moved around and the straps could be moved.

This style holster is not worth piss in the South or where there is allot of heat and or Humidity. Basically it is like wearing a Horse hide or Cow leather sheet on your body soaking up all the sweat it causes.

I know allot of people seem to like this style holster, but, having made them and worn them. I can tell you that there are much better choices for IWB wear. lol

Holsters

ISD, I might need to get you to make me a holster for my 1911, something in a shoulder rig. Might want something for the XDm, too. Can you shoot me some prices? I can come pick it up myself to avoid shipping.
