shoot around corners gun sight
I was at my gun store this morning checking on an order, the manager brought over a shotgun with one of these: http://reflectoscope.com/ installed on it. My first thought was gimmick! But after playing with it a bit, I can see the merits for a policing force, or perhaps home defense. clint "Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us."

Any idea how much price it added to the gun? If the price is right, I wouldn't mind looking into this. I didn't see any on their site. Of course, I got distracted in the Pictures/Scope In Use section. :)

I never looked for a price, I can give you Ty's email and you can ask him (the store manager).
pm me if you are interested.

I don't imagine it works very well in low light conditions though.
clintlebo
I would image it would work the same as whatever your sights are capable of...
We had a trijicon front sight on the shotgun, so it was looking at a reflection of the front sight.

limited time (online anyway)

$80 might be worth it. I wonder if I couldn't make the same thing myself though. Maybe a good project. For when I have free time (yeah right)

I'll let you know who well it works, or I should say, how easy it is to pick up once I get to shoot with it.

Thanks for the hands on research, must pain you to have to shoot a weapon for research purposes...

This is the one Billy bought. http://accutact.com/anglesight.html
Going to try it out with one of the Acogs and Eotech.

I think I like that one better... seems more robust...
Saint J.M. Browning
Yeah, I agree.
HampsterW
I like that one as well.

dude that is awesome, and only 80? thats a must buy for home defense

I wonder if it takes a little longer to get a good sight picture with that thing while looking straight through. or maybe it could make target acquisition even quicker. Id love to hear the results of your tests.
