Shooting last sunday

well i had a hell of a day,got to the gun dealer shoot around 9:00a.m. and started out shooting S&W guns, with the 500 magnum in a ported 6 inch barrell. The round is intimidating in size alone but the gun controls the recoil thru a great rubber grip with an internal recoil pad, making the gun and 500 mag a very controllable round to shoot,i wish i could take one hunting.

then i shot the "Governor",S&W answer to the Taurus "judge",okay they are fun to shoot but not practicle IMO,to bulky, heavy, poor chamberings( 410/45LC).but kind of like fucking a fat chick, sometimes you just do it.these guns need loving too.

then back to some 38 airweights from S&W,with crimson trace grips,i definately liked these as a BUG,ankle holster gun for sure.

Time to change vendors,so i shot some Rugers, starting with the SR1911 in 45 ACP,very nice,i liked everything about it.Basic 1911 no frills,no fails, fuck ya baby,i want two.

had to shoot the Ruger ugly sister, the P90 i think, after the SR 1911,i was snap shooting this one handed. Then i was real happy to shoot the SR9 from Ruger and it was a real sweet shooter,i am still amazed by the loaded chamber indicators though,i was raised to look and know what condition my gun was in,guess i need more training.

Springfield was there so i shot every 45 they had, about 6 different guns i think, all performed flawlessly, the "Operator" was one sweet ass gun.

Shot some Rossi offerings,HKs,and 5 different CZs,what a great bunch of guns those were too, holy crap,19+1 with a 26 round spare mag,i could clean out any street corner in Minneapolis.I really found the trigger pull damn nice after i operated the decocker and went DA/SA( I'ma Glock guy/1911,never been a big fan of the decocker until now) I am a CZ fan now .

all in all a great day of blasting,i finished the day off shooting a Coonan 357,a 1911 style pistol thats chambered for the 357/38 special, magazine fed.Dan Coonan is an old shooting buddy of mine and to see him doing good makes me happy,he's a total gun nut,and has poured his soul into his guns, and i shot the prototype over twenty years ago(fuck i'm getting old)

lol! Good stuff! Yeah, what's up with the young bucks today? A girl doesn't have washboard abs, so they are like 'Ooo, she's fat!' WTF? You're getting so much you can be that picky? Beauty is a light switch away, from behind with her face in a pillow it's all the same, etc.

Sounds like a good time at the range. Wish I could have been there. I'll be up in Edina around XMas. Visiting in-laws.

LBC are those the same size as 1911s except for the grip? I have always wanted one of those. Is he going to make one commander
Size do you think?

Thanks! I just saw a review by John Taffin. I checked out the site too. I really think it may be close to the perfect pistol.
