This woman was... without a doubt disturbed. The guns were rented. I bought my dad a gun a couple of weeks ago and this is the range we went to for him to get acquainted with it. Look for the loons to come out and try to shut down shooting ranges now. For those who haven't seen the video...

unfortunately

this happens all too often. It usually doesn't make national news so people don't really hear about it until it happens in their area or at their range. There were atleast 3 range suicides in phoenix last year that I personally know of... and at a range that I was a R.O at, its happened 3 times in the last 5 years (one of the times a gun was stolen from the range, used for a suicide, and returned by the police. We made a newbie clean it, needless to say, it was a bitch to clean)

to shoot her son in the head and then kill herself afterward.

Thank you stormR. This is the video I need to let a lady see in order for her to better visualize why I will not go to an indoor pistol range. Besides the crap you are sucking into your lungs, the lack of vision to the adjacent lane and other shooters, more than one shooter in the same lane etc.. We have 3 indoor ranges within a 20 minute ride but I prefer to go to a State run (fur, fin, feathers) outdoor facility that is an 1 1/2hour ride. Besides the fact it has rifle/pistol/shotgun/archery(soon). You will also see more loosely fitting shirts/jackets per capita than anywhere else also, nuff said . A very sad event but I hope it will help someone keep safe..

(You have to look behind all of that outer space stuff)

This was a mother shooting her son. I know the high-speed low-drag air-cooled teflon-coated gun shop commandos and online rambos always check their six and suspect anybody of anything anywhere and anytime, but seriously, how many of you can say you've never let a family member or friend stand by or behind you when at a range?
