defense from what?... i know i'm not shooting buckshot inside my house.

defense as in bad guy in your house. i am not using squirrel shot, being the 590 is not a squirrel gun. so I will use buckshot instead of #6 shot ! will worry about house later.

At close range buckshot is not going to spread enough to make much of difference. Use a Slug. Use Brenneke Tactical for the real deal, Wolf for practice, But know your zero with both. I find out to 50 yds they are about the same, but the Brenneke's are more accurate.
