Shotgun Options

I'm looking into the next addition to my collection of firearms, and want to add a new shotgun. I would love a SPAS 12, but they are hard to find in my area.LOL! Most of my knowledge of shotguns is on pump, and I'm wanting an auto loader. I want chambered for 12 gauge, and it has to be reliable. I won't say that price isn't a issue, but it is one of the least important ones. Reliability, speed of action and quality are more important. What are the suggestions, and why? Thanks!

I haven't used one yet, but the reports are high on them. I think it is American Russian Arms whom manufacures them.

check out the remmy 1100 tactical. I like the 870 (pump), so i'm sure the 1100 is good quality too. I've shot one a few times (18" bbl) and it was pretty smooth. I'm sure you could do all the modifications to it that you can do to the 870.

the price is right, I'm just not sure they have the same reliability and quality as remmy. I may be wrong though, I've never shot one, only handled them at shows and in shops. personally, if it were me, I would go with the 1100 TAC

the remmy would be a good quality buy, but if your short on $ and need a scattergun, the saiga should be fine.

Forgive my ignorance, but is the AA12 built by Alaxander Arms? Like I said, I'm a newbie to auto loaders. And one of the options I like about the siaga is the mag design. It would really speed up reloading. Great in self defense, tactical, or even 3-gun comp roles. And once again, thanks to all for the great info to everyone. I'm really glad I joined the site, TONS of sources and lots of experience.

yes, Alexander Arms 12. I'm honestly not sure how much they cost or what requirements you need to purchase one. obviously the full auto is class 3, but I think the barrel is short enough on the semi auto that its class 3 as well. I was just throwing it out there, because its one bad mofo!
