So far I really like the .40 XDM shoots good with just about any ammo. The recoil is not really that of the typical .40 it is a little heavier because the gun is light. but with a full mag it gets better. Comes apart quick clans eas as pie. When I first got it I was skeptical because there is no safety switch just a grip safety and a trigger safety. But that has not as of yet been a problem. It has the ambi mag release which is great. It's a slick little piece I have enjoyed it so far and recommend it to anyone who is considering one.

So, 15 yds?

I assume you're talking pistols only, right? You're all going to lose anyway, because I have an old japanese Nambu pistol that was modified by Little Dragon and Iron Koji to fire 5.56 rounds that hit with over 5,000 ft/lbs of energy and hold 1.5mm groups at 600 yds. They also installed a hydraulic tripod and a GPS guidance system for the rounds.

Yes runaway

pistols only, 15 yds sounded like a good distance............... not to close, but not too far.

I can't marry him yet.

That would be adultury, polygamy, and homosexual union, and the army frowns on all of those. Although the adultury has already taken place, as had sodomy. Ebear made me feel like a big man by walking funny for a few days afterward, too. He sure would make a good wife.

lmao

so how goes the battle in AZ? Don't worry the military will soon be allowing civil unions. I thought I was the only one getting japanese Nambu pistol that was modified by Little Dragon and Iron Koji to fire 5.56 rounds that hit with over 5,000 ft/lbs of energy and hold 1.5mm groups at 600 yds. Damn it I've been fooled again.

It fires 40,000 rds/min and still holds 2mm at 600 yds. Ah, the battle in AZ. I may be out of the fight before long. I couldn't get the deployment to Afghanistan, but my branch manager is working on getting me a spot in Gitmo for a year, and if he can't there's a place in Turkey open in September. I'd rather not do detainee ops, but from what I understand, Gitmo has all the financial benefits of Iraq or Afghanistan, plus COLA and maybe flight pay. We'll see. Either way, my time here in AZ is drawing to a close for a bit. We're still talking about retiring back here.

How do you like it around Sierra Vista...I can't remember, but you do live outside Fort Huachuca right? I have been looking for houses all around the area...found a nice 20 acre with house, on the other side of Mt Lemon...also some 40 acre plots down that way.

But I prefer Hereford/Palominas, because I don't like living in town. We have a Super Wal-mart being built right now, so I'll be happy soon.
