Is it just me, or does anyone else simply not care? Hell, if nothing else, it has reduced the number of HIV-positive people in the world. I really don't think I'd be good in politics, because I'd be quoted as saying "So what?" with a whole bunch of these disasters in foreign countries. And I damned sure wouldn't pledge 100 million dollars with more to follow.

"I have always been a soldier. I have known no other life. The calling of arms, I have followed from boyhood. I have never sought another." From The Virtues of War, by Steven Pressfield.

Are you getting those grips? I have a Rosewood Buck Knife, folder that I was given in the late 70's by the Kiwanis Club. For my outstanding work as president. It has been a great knife that I really neglect.

I have no problem

with the 100 million actually, a human being is a human being and there are a lot of children down there who are innocent. WE do these things well, usually. However, I would ask what has been done with the billions of MY FUCKING tax money (when I paid it...haha), over the years? I mean, we had a 7.0 earthquake and not every building collapsed. You would think with the billions we have sunk into that shithole, that at the very least, the infrastructure would be able to mostly survive with minimal damage and not fold like a fucking house of cards! I am sorry about the way I typed this, but shit I am pissed off! What about all the carbon being put into atmosphere from all the flights down there? Oh wait...that's good, maybe it will warm up north Florida (where the temps are colder for longer than ever in weather recorded history). By the way...we are getting health care shoved down our throats as I type...bastards...sorry for the rant changing the subject...I have some compassion for those people of Haiti, but progressive programs funded by our tax money is fruitless, Haiti is a prime example and Obama, Pelosi and Reid are total idiots for thinking that shit is going to work in the US...oh, overall: Screw Haiti...haha.

We're sending a dozen MPs to Haiti to act as site secuirty and get this; We won't be issued ammo, because it will detract from the humanitarian mission according to our highers.

The indigenous people are not a stable and grateful group. They are known for their violence. That violence will be attributed to their poverty but the basis of their violent nature will not resurrect dead people.

heres my thoughts

Its sad what happened to those people. But what about all the people in the USA dying everyday of starvation, homelessness, and other causes. Everyday kids in our country go to bed hungry, because their dad lost his job, due to out-sourcing and such. I think America should come first, not second. What do you all think?

like you've been watching CNN. According to them 1 out of 3 kids in the U.S. are malnourished and living on a steam grate inside a cardboard box.
Truth is, the Americans are the most charitable people on the face of the earth and if they find a person in need that person , especially kids, will get help.
That's just how Americans are :<)

you're right

Thats why Americas so great though, because we do help people. but I just wish we would worry about our issues over other peoples. But it is sad when you think of those orphans down there in Haiti, not having a family, or schools, or decent food and water....

I was hoping to cause a bit of a stir "What the hell?? Security with no ammo?!), but it didn't go that way. Thanks for taking away my fun, Guns Lot. What's really sad is that this is completely believeable.
