You should be both proud of yourself for your accomplishment and grateful for the opportunity. If becoming a teacher appeals to you, why not? We certainly need more good, qualified teachers, in practically every school district in the nation. Something to consider: there are services available that administer testing. You can take tests that will help you determine both your preferences and your best aptitudes. The administrators of the tests can then suggest careers that best match up your high scores in both areas. These tests are time-consuming, but since they can help determine a career in which you will hopefully be for the rest of your life, the time they take is unimportant. Such testing services are generally only to be found in medium to large cities, perhaps with populations of 100,000 or more. I don't know where Haysi, VA is, or what large city is the closest to you. I don't know the name of any of these services, but some time on Google should help you locate some. The testing is not terribly expensive, but as said before if they help determine the best careers for you it will be money well spent. It might be best to undergo such testing before starting to college, in order to choose the best major & minor for you.

Thanks for the tips. I will do some searching an see what I find. I dont care how long the tests are I will do them. I am so happy that I can do this for myself and for the chance at some good money. I need this badly and I will do what it takes for the opportunity to help out our future youth and for many other people alike.

Nah I am not going over to the "Dark" side. I am gonna be a teacher and use my money to buy guns and ammo......maybe a ferrari and such. No brainwahing and no obozo supports will come from me!

Nah i am gonna teach at local Elementary schools like my former elem. school Sandlick Elem. Or maybe at Clinchco Elem.

Also if possible I may volunteer to be a GED teacher over the summer to give others the opportunity that was given to me. Its only fair right?

and carma always dictates to give as you receive. Unfortunatly way to many teachers quit teaching and became left wing indoctrination Councilors. But you also need to get yourself prepared to be blamed for the child not learning anything, become a babysitter, and general all around scapegoat. My buddies wife is a teacher of 30 plus years, but nowadays parents don't want anything to do with there childs education. Thats the schools problem. And God forbid you assign to much home work. With both my daughters we take a very active role in there education, we check home workand make shure it's done. We talk to the teachers and make shure theres no problems and if there are what do we need to fix it. I guess thats why our kids get good grades in a school system that most say is the worst in the state. Sorry for the rant.

Yup I have shot it alot. 200+ rounds. It seems to love the Remington golden bullet 40-gr.
