their slogan says "Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment." but when jesus multiplied the bread and the fish to feed the hungry people i guess the almighty was wrong, i hate those retarded tree huggin, tofu eatin hippies.

I'm curious. What exactly has Peta done to make you assume that they would've thrown fish blood on Christ for the bread and fish miracle?

I don't agree with Peta or their tactics, but I have to wonder about that.

well if you read the story in the bible where christ multiplied the bread and the fish to feed the people, and then peta saying eating animals is wrong, it just made me wonder.

btw, people actually petitioned to change the word "fish" to sea kittens...

would ever have any inclination to read the Bible. Of course the bible is not relevant in their Oligarchy.

Your assuming I haven't read the bible because I disagree with you on politics? You should consider "liberal" application of a pair of vice grips to dig your head out of your not so suntanned regions.

By the way, who is this "they"?

Edit - Oh, and a better question. Where in my posts have I suggested that I'm for an Oligarchy? I'm really curious about that one.

You can't disagree with my politics, because your politics are not yet relevant. You are still fighting to overtake a known system that has worked for hundreds of years. This Republic shall stand for a very long time.
I see you haven't made a comment on the Video that I posted the link too. Are you still confused. If you are as young as you say you are, which I don't believe, then in your schooling, you have never had anything but a liberal teacher and academics. You have never heard or even listened to the other side. You and all your minions are very likely brainwashed by liberalism, because it is all you have been taught.
I believe it was Disraeli who said, "A person who isn't a liberal before 40 has no heart and who is a liberal after 40 has no head"
So when you grow up and learn life's lessons, then you may see a difference.

Sam, I'll politely ask you to reconsider my advice on the vise grips. I've posted nothing but valid, political facts. And so far, everyone but you who's disagreed has done the same. You however seem to be unable to grasp polite disagreement, and I dare say your the one who is "confused", You made an entire post addressed to me, but everything in it had nothing to do with me and everything to do with your baseless assumptions.

Since I apparently stand against the United States, want an Oligarchy and hate God, I'm going to ask you to point to where I've said these things. If you post something not answering that request, I can only assume you cannot do so.

By the way, you misquoted Disraeli. You mixed up socialist and liberal.

I'll ask you again Sam. Point to where I've supported Oligarchy, preached atheism, or opposed the United States as a whole.

Edit - http://www.gunslot.com/forum/g-i-jane-vs-samd <-- I started our own thread for this, since this has nothing to do with PETA.

Quote:

There's not much difference these days, I'm afraid. That quote has been attributed to Disraeli, Churchill, Bork, Georges Clemenceau, Dean Inge, etc. They may all have repeated and misquoted it to serve their own purposes, but it actually comes from the French philosopher Francois Guisot (1787-1874): "Not to be a republican at twenty is proof of want of heart; to be one at thirty is proof of want of head." The word 'republican' does not refer to the American Republican party, of course, the same way the definition of 'liberal' has changed over the years. Guisot was discussing the excesses of the French Revolution that supposedly 'freed the people' from tyranny, then substituted a tyranny of their own worse than the original. Apropos of today, I think.

Ah.

The version I saw somewhere else on this board used "socialist" in place of "liberal", and I'm not particularly familiar with the quote itself. Thanks for clarification on that.

that there is really no difference between the two words.
MMM Jane, to be truthful, I find you rather boring and you sound like every other liberal/socialist who has sprung upon this board. You have nothing new to say. You diatribe is like a page out of your poli-sci manuals on disturbing the peace.
Why don't you try to spread your idealogy on someone who cares.
I personally find it boring trying to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.
You can't even be honest as to whom, you are. Male, Female, 18, where you are from. You come on here trying to get us to do something illegal, with your zip gun conversion.
Then you ask for help on purchasing a handgun. Then you say you have a .44 magnum.
Be honest, who are you really?
Peace out.
It would have been fun, had you had something new to say.

You quit the argument when I ask you to back up your claims.

If you read the post in which I said I had a .44 Magnum, you would notice that I was implying that I own it for the sole purpose of killing spiders. And then I said that I was joking, because nothing short of a 10 gauge slug is suitable for that purpose. Now, I'm not entirely sure how you assumed that I was saying I actually own one, since I've clearly stated that I don't own a handgun and cannot legally do so.

I have no reason to say who I am, simply because it has no purpose on this board. What, exactly, would anyone on here be able to do with that information? As for "not being honest" about who I am, I can use that logic to accuse you of not being honest about your perspective on the space race, since you never said anything about that either.

Sam, quite frankly I'm disappointed. You came into this thread, tried to start an argument with me and did nothing but throw baseless personal attacks at me. And then when I gave you the request to back up those accusations, you quit the thread and throw more personal attacks. I welcome you, or anyone else reading this, to find proof of the things you accused me of. And I also welcome anyone I've disagreed with ( And theres quite the list now ) to find a post in which I degenerated into the kind of bitter, bickering attitude that SamD has shown towards me. Or even where I've personally attacked someone over an idealogical disagreement.

You peace out as well, since your the one who seems to be huffed over this.

I have been to the PETA site. I too find it disconcerting on animal experimentation. It is a necessary evil, it will someday save a life.
They are the fringe like everyother idealogy. left alone they will self destruct. Did you watch my video on government? If you can't get it online and want to view. email me an email add I will send it to you.

Forgive me for sounding like one of the black helicopter guys (although I have seen them), but I believe every group out there has a sinister agenda at its core. Anti-gun organizations may be made of primarily ignorant people who think they've got our best interest at heart, but at their core are people who want the government to have total control over citizens' (subjects'?) lives. What is the core agenda for PETA? Perhaps it is to control the population of the country by allowing animals to overpopulate, thus spreading disease. But why? Do they have some super vaccine that will allow them to live through it all? Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

"I have always been a soldier. I have known no other life. The calling of arms, I have followed from boyhood. I have never sought another." From The Virtues of War, by Steven Pressfield.
