A good magazine to read in my opinion is Gun Tests magazine. They are kind of like a firearm consumer reports. They take a selection of guns and put them to the test and report their findings. The main thing I like about this magazine is they do not accept commercial advertizing. I believe this makes their testing un-biased and not influenced by money kickbacks and such. If interested in checking it out, go to:

www.gun-tests.com or call (800)829-9084

Their subscriptions are a little pricie at $49/year, but I feel its worth it for the gun enthusiast who wants to know about various firarms and how they measure up. Check it out yall, I think yall may find it interesting.

gun tests magazine

i get it and yes it does seem to be less biased than other magazines.but it is kinda pricy for the amount of guns that they review in each issue

While taking into consideration the consumer reports, the test reports and findings involved in selecting the guns seems to be peculiar to a laymen like me.Hope it to be interesting and worthy in its concept.I do agree with its rule of strictly prohibiting the commercial advertisements.
