spas 12

I'm looking to purchase a Spas 12 shotgun. I actually found one in the city I live but finding it hard to find a true value for it. Its got the folding stock, original hook, recalled safety,(includine original), and in GREAT condition. Said to have had about 200 shells through it. Any feedback would b very helpful. Thanks

mcrobertson, welcome

to Gunslot. After poking around a bit it looks like they are going for around $1200-$1500 on gunbroker. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=180062122

don't be in a big hurry.....if you wait awhile you should be able to get a descent one for about 900.00 or less...wait around the fall....thats when allot of people sell thier guns for x-mas money.....i kick my self in the ass, because i could have got one last year for just under 800.00 on Auctionarms. i hedged and figured the bid would go up and it did'nt. some lucky bastard out there got a steal.

Thanks for the input! I did end up buying the one here in town. After seeing it it looked lik it was out the box. Gave 1500 for it but like I said it looked brand new with no wear at all. Now looking for an ak of good quality. Maybe even a springfield or kimber 1911. Any input would b great on pros and cons. Thanks everyone!
