SPRINGS IN CLIPS

I always heard or thought that leaving an auto loaded by the bed {for say a year or so} would weaken the spring, and cause the gun to posabley jam? Living in the city sometimes I dont get to shoot much, I know thats bad but sometimes it happens. Im looking at Glock 17, do you think there is any problem with leaving it loaded for long pereiods of time. Thanks ELDON

mag springs

i do the same thing as greasypaws but i have a 3 mag rotation for most of my guns. I also like leaving room for the bullets to breath, so i don't leave a mag fully loaded. if the mag holds 15 rds, I will leave it loaded with 14. if it hold 13, I leave 12 loaded etc... eventually (after years) you are gonna have to replace the springs anyway... with a glock it will be really cheap. Plus, it take a lot to make a glock jam.
