Have you checked out the Gun Magazine "Cheaper Than Dirt".There is alot of really cool stuff in there and i dont think it'll hurt the kids piggy bank. I order from them all the time and they are very reliable and i have never gotten a wrong order or a faulty product.cheaperthandirt.com Good luck!

I generally prefer

my feet in my stockings. But in AZ I only wear socks 2 or 3 times a year anyway... Ammo is good. A gun Club mmembership is nice. If you don't have any budget restraints then any nice semi-auto .50 BMG is nice.

don't forget

cheaperthandirt.com does ship free catalogs, so make sure to sound out for one of those. if you're not going to order anything, it's still something cool to read when you're on the shitter.

i have ordered about 150 dollars worth of stuff from them and been real happy with it.as far as stocking type items, those gun handi wipes are a good one(walmart),targets are handy,Hoppe's #9 cleaner, cleaning patches,q tips for gun cleaning,a couple cheap tooth brushs for gun cleaning,a gun rest(the sand bag style)a small toolbox(for your gun cleaning stuff)all of these are $10.00 or less and will almost fit in a stocking!

true

i always pay for my own gifts too and it helps the kids when they get you something you really like and react to it naturally and not all cheesy and fake like with a shirt or something then whatever is left on the list you can pickup after christmas.these items are the shit you dont think about till you are cleaning your guns or are looking for that certain patch jag and cant find it!(toolbox cures this!)

a bundle of shop rags,a piece of carpet about a foot wide x three feet wide(gun cleaning mat,no scratch!),scope cleaning cloths, desicant bags for your gun safe(keeps out moisture),a gun screw toolkit(i found mine at walmart,it is a screwdriver with changeable bits sized for gunsmithing and in a hard case $9.99),toothpicks(for the hard to reach spots),magazine subscriptions to your favorite magazines
