It's a real struggle. Especially when the weather is nice outside. I will adjust, I just don't have to like it.

We do some work in AZ and CO as well. I hope to get back out to AZ and on the clock someday.

I know we are both .243 fans, but have you had any field experience with the 25-06?? If so, what do you think??

Shoots as flat and hits as hard as any. I would choose a 25-06 over a 7mag or .270.
I just don't need that kind of power here and the short action suits me better, thus the .243

I have a hard time getting away from the .243 or a model 94 30-30.
