Mornin Guys

Seems like the theme. I had a leaf blower going in the drug store parking lot at midnight. Good thing I hadn't been drinking more... I can see how people snap and do stupid things though. Made it hard to get going. Can't wait to find a quieter place to live.

Snow

I grew up an hour south of Buffalo just across the state line into PA. I coudn't wait to get out of there. It would snow in May and start again in October. We did have a tractor to plow with.

You're welcome Bauer,

I don't like winter either. Here I am with three of the best ski resorts in the world practically in my back yard, some people would kill for that but not me, I don't like winter sports.

Park City,

I love Park City in the summer, I go up there four or five times a year, walk around and have a nice dinner, it's about a half hour drive from my house.

On another note

I found a holster that feels good, its a minatour IWB. Brother has one and I tried it on last night and loved it granted his was designed for the 1911 but the whole feel of it was good and the weapon was completely concealed but easy to get to.

Did you wear it for a while & go through some normal everyday all the time activities?
You need to do that & particularly make sure your weapon does not start to weasel it's way up & out of the holster which will sometimes happen if things are not right.

Wish ya luck with it

Just do your self a favor Adam & wear it doing normal things for a couple days around the house, yard garage etc, etc. A strange thing that happens a lot with IWB even tho some say No Way.
is that we get so comfortable & used to it being there that it is for all intent & purpose forgotten about, until we are fumbling around, looking like an idiot trying to keep it from hitting the floor, or it does hit the floor. Both bad situations & easy to avoided. Happened to me not long ago with my 380, I was so pissed.

Sorry R3

I am stuck in the leather & nylon era of holsters, just looked yours up, don,t have much experience with the polymer ones, Still, a few days around the house & yard etc would still be a good thing I think. (me, think??? I remember what that was like!!)

tried carrying my 1911 in an IWB and a horizontal sling, I found neither comfortable and that was just around the house, I can't imagine sitting at my desk all day with that 5" barrel in a IWB holster...lol

Trigger......GP,it

will pass over time. When I quit smoking, coffee was a 'trigger' for the longest time, if you ask most smokers, coffee and smokes is best friends.....Now three or so years later it doesn't bother me any more.

I did it in the snow last year at 48 years old. And I would expect no less from this smart ass bunch. Makes the day pass much faster and with some humor.

Chocolate cake for me!! I think GP and I had the same girl in the snow. Now, now at different times. She claims to have AADHD but i think she is "crazy as a shithouse rat".

Just got on. This was fun to read, especially when the talk turned to wenches and sex in the snow. I'm glad I can come on this site and be so entertained.
Did this drunk German girl on the fender of a Jeep in the middle of winter in Frankfurt. When we got through, I thought it was all good, but she said her ass was frozen, and when I checked, it felt like it. While we were going, she never said a thing; just kept on truckin'.
I saw her the next night, and the first thing she said was, "Tonight you got to rent a room!"

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man. (Mark Twain).

Isn't it funny however innocent the comment may be, how fast it degenerates. It is always good when they keep cuming back...

It is what I look forward to. Throw a provocative comment out and watch frenzy begin. Need to tell ecaman to bend her over the jeep next time.
