Seems like the theme. I had a leaf blower going in the drug store parking lot at midnight. Good thing I hadn't been drinking more... I can see how people snap and do stupid things though. Made it hard to get going. Can't wait to find a quieter place to live.

a foot of snow on Saturday night, wet and heavy shit, all it did was clog up the snow blower so had to shovel my house, Mom's and Aunt's.....Maybe that has something to do with it...LOL!

Thanks for reminding me that snow is on the way, I hate it more and and more each year and I am seriously trying to talk my wife into moving to AZ to get a way from the cold and snow.

I grew up an hour south of Buffalo just across the state line into PA. I coudn't wait to get out of there. It would snow in May and start again in October. We did have a tractor to plow with.

More snow up there than where I lived in western Maryland.

I don't like winter either. Here I am with three of the best ski resorts in the world practically in my back yard, some people would kill for that but not me, I don't like winter sports.

I would love to as soon as I am done with school and start teaching there

I love Park City in the summer, I go up there four or five times a year, walk around and have a nice dinner, it's about a half hour drive from my house.

I found a holster that feels good, its a minatour IWB. Brother has one and I tried it on last night and loved it granted his was designed for the 1911 but the whole feel of it was good and the weapon was completely concealed but easy to get to.

how anyone could possibly CC a 1911 comfortably.....

Did you wear it for a while & go through some normal everyday all the time activities?
You need to do that & particularly make sure your weapon does not start to weasel it's way up & out of the holster which will sometimes happen if things are not right.

i did sit with it and twisted and turn and bend, however it was with a 1911 and not my H&K but I am willing to order this and feel fairly good about it.

Just do your self a favor Adam & wear it doing normal things for a couple days around the house, yard garage etc, etc. A strange thing that happens a lot with IWB even tho some say No Way.
is that we get so comfortable & used to it being there that it is for all intent & purpose forgotten about, until we are fumbling around, looking like an idiot trying to keep it from hitting the floor, or it does hit the floor. Both bad situations & easy to avoided. Happened to me not long ago with my 380, I was so pissed.

Larry I will keep that in mind, and it will be vertical carry so hopefully that will help. i appreciate the advice.

I am stuck in the leather & nylon era of holsters, just looked yours up, don,t have much experience with the polymer ones, Still, a few days around the house & yard etc would still be a good thing I think. (me, think??? I remember what that was like!!)

tried carrying my 1911 in an IWB and a horizontal sling, I found neither comfortable and that was just around the house, I can't imagine sitting at my desk all day with that 5" barrel in a IWB holster...lol

I hear ya Hamp, Never been a problem for me, used to CC my Combat Commander steel frame's
in a vert shoulder rig, never a problem. IWB is appendicts carry now due to the new shoulder with a muzzle left cant & double mag pouch in the horizontal, very comfy for me.
