I'm curious, why the steel plate? Yessir, I bet it does hurt in the cold!
I had a friend who had quad bypass. Worst thing he ever did after the surgery was try to close a wire gate. That brought tears to my eyes just thinking about it!

gotta work huh? not me,i just got done watching spike TV,powerblock yeah! had to laugh at the "freeze balls off a brass monkey" ,did you know that term comes from the british war ship era? pretty cool, when the British were at the peak of the British empire(or close to it) they sailed year round and sometimes got caught in pretty cold weather.

well their cannon balls were staged next to their guns on a dished out brass plate, called a brass monkey, roughly like a egg carton holds eggs, and stacked in a pyramid. When it got cold down in the gun decks, frost would build on the cannon balls, making them slip off and roll all over the place, got to be a term the British Sailors used to describe the weather conditions.Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey. But i'm guessing you knew that,

i tried being reasonable,i didn't like it, NRA LIFE MEMBER,USMC VETERAN

Destroyed my left shoulder and now
don't have a collar bone. rod down my arm
and plastic rotor cuff.
hip took a beating also but I guess it will
hold up a while.

A room size roll of carpet fell 30 feet and landed
on my left shoulder. Hit like a tree limb.

They are wrapped, but there was leak in the seam between the exterior water heater room door. Have a vent in the bathroom that goes to the water heater room but my middle son shut the little wonder heater off last night because he thought something was burning, good intentions on his part but its was just dust on the elements. Long story short they are thawed and we have aqua at casa de Bauer.

Easy shift just clean up after the crazies, buy that time everything is over and the store is in shambles. I hope the dont sell the 300 rounds of .45 acp i have tagged, but one at regular get on at 50% off. $90 for 300 figure cant go wrong.

Yea, some use but not much, I would score it as "light use" Top shelf maintenance,
Around here, pawn shops, & a couple of the larger gun shops in that condition, with a half good scope, are going for 200 to 225, saw one with a better scope for 250.
So basically, 243 & 4 boxes for 225. I don't think I'm skinning him, I think it's fair for here.
This is one of those folks that are always selling something, him & his Girl friend go to Vegas for 4 day weekend, San Diego to sit at the ocean, then all of a sudden he is selling stuff to make bills????? Have got a couple from him in the past, but always have an LE friend run the numbers just to be sure.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?
(I'm glad because I usually don't)

Anyway I for one think ole greg az is

tried the prison guard thing and couldn't
hack it. The inmates don't seem to like
them no matter how good a person they are.

Greg az spent 25 years as a guard ?
He must be a tough ole fart

A friend is a guy who when the shit flys is
a guy you don't have to look over your shoulder
to see if they are still behind you.

#1 my wife and she's a bad ass with a 44mag
#2 my neighbor who is a disabled Nam Vet. He
has agent orange and has a brain tumor from it.
They have it in check with meds but only God knows.
This guy has 2 purple hearts and 4 bronze stars.
I know he would be there

Speaking of dogs

I better go feed mine.
She is a giant Peiranieze (sp)
and Shepard mix. Sweet dog but
she is so big and so glad to see me
she knocks me down. I got her from my
grdaughter who moved into an apartment
and couldnt have a dog

I didn't have a dog for a few years.
I just couldn't bring myself to get a dog.

I had 2 dogs #1 I had 18 years
and #2 I had 15 years.

They both died the same year and it was
like loosing 2 of my kids. These dogs were
Pit Bull Shepard mix and were as gentle as
a lamb. Even when the grkids tried to ride
on them they never were aggressive

Everywhere I went on my farm they were there.
I would be working on something and they were
near by in some shade watching.

Adam that "Linus" thing is great.. to funny, and not to far off.. Gloria got me a blanket last year (QVC had one for all the services) and the Navy one is blue..

The girls got up at 2:30 this morning, and believe it or not did that whole "black Friday" thing.. Hard to believe, and harder when its 18 degrees outside.. AZ supposed to be warm.. sheesh..

On the Prison thing, i didn't quite make it the full distance to retirement.. I have full disability due to an inoperable back.. This is one of those 4 issues things that got progressively worse over the years, and for what its worth the state was really good to me..

We could see this coming a long way in the future.. I had built up a good relationship with various Wardens over the years, and the deal was they really tried to accommodate me..Thats one of the reasons i went with the Women's units toward the end of my carrier.. But the back went down hill before i could go the full distance so i wound up doing an early retirement (with the depts help, so the disability was a snap)

I loved that job.. and to be honest there was only a couple of times i was ever uneasy on a yard.. When one "goes off" it can be quite an experiance, but if you treat the Inmates with respect, and still "have a set" when your pushed, its a safer place than walmart was this morning at O Dark thirty..

sheesh...and thier not flippers, there little sock thingies to keep my feet warm..

Talking about feet.. you guys are talking to a celebrity of sorts.. i have THE ugliest feet in the western US.. Serious I'm not allowed to take off my shoes in front of the g-kids..

This is not part of the disability, matter of fact i backpacked and ran with this..

My right big to is at a 45 degree and have a HUGE.. talking like boon and crockett record huge bunion.. toenail fungus, size 13, more hair on the toes (on any one of them) than on my chest..

In short i really do have ugly feet.. actually had a hospital worker (know those pressure hose they put on you) GASP when she saw my foot.. True story.. no pain but the daughter asked me in a nice way if i would "be careful" about letting the girls see my feet.. I've laughed about this for ever, and forgot or would have mentioned it earlier..
