For real im not whining here, more of an explanation of where i was all day than anything else.

My plans were to get up at a decent hour... head on out to to Sorrel ranch rd (this is off of 89) and put some rounds down range.. Then come back, and kick with my buddies on here..

Yeah... right... Yesterday i think i mentioned stoping at ACE and buying paint.. Gloria had smoked in her bathroom before stoping, and she wanted to paint the ceiling.. I'm like go for it baby.. Then realized she planed on me painting doors.. Long story short i painted doors today..

The range didn't happen, the gunslot BS didn't happen, but man we have some white doors..

The point of all this.. NOTHING... its 1:15 AM in AZ.. so talk to me guys ...what did ya all do today...

See you all tomorrow..

Sunday was yard work day. Getting rid of all the weeds on Upper Main in Humboldt, Will try to kill them all for good next spring with some Roundup Super Concentrate so I don't have to keep going through this EVERY YEAR!! Caught part of the Cards game, you know, where we kicked some New Orleans ass!!?!! I can see now why they call the QB Mad Max. And to think he's out of Mesa of all places.

All in all, it was a pretty good day..

Sunday,

was gut and epoxy coat my garage floor day. I have been wanting to do it ever since I built the house and finally got around to it. My goal is to have the kind of garage that samD despises, you know the ones, the ones who's floors are clean enough to eat off of......LOL!

It looks really good,

I should be able to walk on it today and move all of my shit back in but I won't be able to park on it until Wednesday. Every time someone changes their oil a certain amount gets spilled and now I can just wipe it up instead of it soaking into the concrete. I wish that my Camaro actually rolled so I could do the third bay as well.

Those things are amazing.. push that puppy up them, and you can just roll to your hearts content.. pretty neat to do 360's in the same bay..

Both Gloria and i are now officially "white".. with the slaver name of Edwards there were a few questions about "heritage" and number of wood piles etc in the past.. Now we can prove it.. Were both "baseboard white"..

I put the tricle charger on red.. Hamp you asked and dont know if you saw or not but yep R's a D..

Greg, no can do on the

dollies, the rear axle is just sitting on the leaf springs and the rally mags are on my S-10 pick up, so it's not going anywhere. If Red has starting issues when it gets cold then it is likely that either the glow plugs or the GP controller are fragged. The glow plugs are about $7.50 a piece but the controller is big bucks. A lot of guy's bypass the controller and put a 50 amp momentary push button switch on the dash, a $20 solution to a several hundred dollar problem.

Im in your debt Hamp..

That's exactly what the problem is as its only an issue when its cold.. Reds the only Diesel in AZ that gets plugged in.. and still a problem that i have to cycle the go plugs like 5-6 times.. You just saved me big bucks.. and i have a buddy who is better with wiring than i am who can wire it while i drill and mount the switch in the dash... Thanks!!

Thinking about the old boy who gave you a tow..and i have an idea.. Next time your close to where he lives get an address.. You have a lot of friends on here Hamp, everyone of us would be happy to invest the 35 cents (or what ever it is)... Can you imagine a better thank you than for the old boy to be getting a bunch of post cards, thank you cards, are just a sheet of paper with "THANK YOU FOR TOWING OUR FRIEND" on it... I'm thinking thats something he would never forget..

No problem greg,

free advice is worth what you paid for it.......LOL Just remember not to hold the button in for more than 10 seconds or so or it will burn up the glow plugs, all the controller is, is an overpriced timer. Sadly I didn't get his address but I did shake his hand and tell him what I thought of his kindness

Howdy guys

Sunday, I helped the Mrs. with halloween decorations, put 140 rounds of .38 through the loading press, watched the race and grilled burgers. Not a bad day at all.

I hate painting.

Epoxy coated garage floor? Yep, yer a disgrace Hamp! LOL.

Sunday

Got up early and mowed. Then went and shot the Falling Plates Match at the Arlington Sportsmans Club. Spent the rest of the day Grilling Brauts, drinking ice cold Budweiser and watching the Rangers and the Cowboys do what they do!

My truck died the day I left. My wife was pissed, stuck buying and changing both batteries and cables by herself on a lifted truck with a painter's step ladder to get up there.
