In the realm of overkill... These are the .600NE and the .700NE.
They even make a revolver for the .600. I would not want to fire it. "I don't think Hank done it this way" - Waylon |

52 grand is the price of the rifle I want. More than a 2011 F350 Dually Lariat with 6.7L TD engine
Saint J.M. Browning
You'll get more out of it. Unless you just got money to burn. And if you do, I'm your new best friend. :)
Snake
I would like to die with the bones god gave me not metal rods holding me together AFTER shotting this beast! lol
BushBoy
Advice... Go ask your local doctor for a discount on k-nails 'coz I agree with Snake 'coz this weapon as a pisstool is nuts!
ronin1604
Forget ford.... stick with Chevy. ;)
Snake
Both have raged on for years and both wont end anytimes soon. lol. I am a ford fan personally. I own an 82 F-150 300 I6 4 speed 4x4.
Saint J.M. Browning
I had a 95 F150 I6. You can't break 'em. I still regret selling it.
hillbilly77
1994 with the I6 in it.She only has 130 miles on her, and runs like a top.I figure she will last me forever.
Saint J.M. Browning
Or a 130k? They are great. I miss that body style too.
runawaygun762
Just don't shoot it from the prone. God, would that suck ass. Ooh, Hawkins prone would be even worse.
Snake
Biggest I am goin is a .50 BMG. lol
ronin1604
You have no idea how much respect I just lost for you! LOL!
Snake
I had 3 chevy Beretta's 2 88's with 2.0 Auto's one a tinker toy and one I had on the road for a little till the trans went caput. And then I had an 89 GT with a 2.8 5 speed and the shifter cables kept breakin. So I went ford F Series hahaha! Not one problem with it. lol!
ronin1604
love to shot it and the pistol.... ONCE!
Saint J.M. Browning
just love to watch someone else do it. From a distance!
runawaygun762
I have a Ford F350, Glocks, and an AR.
Unlike GM and Chrysler, I actually got something from Ford for the money I gave them. I didn't even get a thank you card from the other two after taking my tax dollars in bailout money. Ford wins.
Saint J.M. Browning
Amen
Snake
Get ya a good run a go and then pull the trigger. It will stop ya instantly but hey you will be standing up still.
runawaygun762
267,000 miles on a 9 year old truck, with 207,000 of that being put on in the first two years, and two traffic accidents.
2200 bucks is the current bill, Ford still can't figure out what is wrong with it after replacing a few things, but they said they're going to cover the rest of the expenses from here on out until they get the problem taken care of. Lots of companies could learn a lesson from that kind of customer service.
Ford wins again
Saint J.M. Browning
Could you imagine if the rifle was scoped? The eye relief would have to be set waaay back. Or imagine the "scope kiss" you'd get with that.
Snake
Has been trough hell in the 29 years on this earth. The actual mileage is a 72,063. It dragged my dad's 6400lbs dodge ram that had a locked up rear end like it was chewin gum wrapper! And my truck was not even in 4x4 or breathin hard. Ford wins again! I DARE CHEVY TO TRY THAT HAHAHA!!!!
ronin1604
I got a chevy, a 1911, and a AK..... put the toys away and play with the big boys. LOL!

Works out to a bit over 76 bucks a round. Wow.
Saint J.M. Browning
Definitely.

.30-06 for a rifle. I could handle more but, why?
.44 Mag for a handgun. Can't handle much more than that.
.10Ga. for a scatter gun. I personally do think a 12 w/ 3.5in shells hurts more.
runawaygun762
I enjoy the thump of big guns, but I agree with the concept behind the rifle, JM. Being a tough guy with recoil is cool, as long as you're hitting the target. Ooh, got a video of a cool .300 Win Mag that felt like an M4. Hang on.
Snake
Me being young and on the hefty side (235lbs) I say I could handle
.50 BMG as a rifle.
.50 AE in pistol.
10 Gauge in Shotgun
Im not trying to portray my self as Mr. Tough Snake but I say I can handle the buck kick of a few MINUS THE .700 God Forbid I ever have to shoot it.... I DONT WANNA LOL!
ronin1604
I really don't know what my limits are.... And recoil is VERY subjective. I fired a 300 win mag the other day, the owner was complaining about the recoil. I wanted to call him a pansey, but didn't ( it was my boss's son). My SKS kicks harder then his rifle did.
Saint J.M. Browning
my son's single shot .243 feels like it kicks harder than my auto-loader .30-06.
Saint J.M. Browning
posted a pic of the handgun...
Ironmike15
I wonder how much that thing weighs....you know I have out grown recoil. I just have no interest in it. It ruins months of pratice. Causes flinches, and is generally unecessary. I am not talking about 44 magnum loads in handguns or 30-06 loads in a rifle. Personally I use a 257 weatherby. I think they are all quite managable..but I can't imagine what creature would need more encouragement to die that I will see anytime soon. I still love those big cannons though in concept. You can almost visualize yourself walking in the dark continent where you are certainly not at the top of the food chain. Danger and peril are your constant companion. I guess no gun could be to big there.
Saint J.M. Browning
I could only think "that's what she said". I can be so jr. high sometimes. I want to say I read somewhere that the cylinder alone weighs 4.5lbs. If that's true, the whole thing probably weighs in the neighborhood of 15lbs? That's more than my rifle.
