Yep, I have an issue...My Remington 700s have never, ever failed, misfired, broke, and that's all there is to it...with the exceptions of...very accurate, very durable, and I have, and would continue to stake my life on all the above.

Thanks

We totally concur. If you keep the damn thing clean and keep your booger picker off the trigger that damn thing works fine. We just have some courses coming up for Basic Shooters and I wanted some feedback about the CNBC expose' on the trigger.

Again thanks..

Is AT asking if any of us have issues with the factory Remington 700 trigger? Which one? My wife has a Varmint model in .223 and that trigger is as crisp as anything I have ever fired. M24 triggers are just as nice, but I don't remember the last time I fired a BDL or any other standard hunting 700.

There was a short run

with a fault which allowed it to go bang with a round in the chamber without pulling the trigger...

Some 700 triggers allow rifle to fire if round chambered even when trigger is not pulled..

No sir, he fell into that bullet... Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!

It is something worth pointing out incase someone might not know of the possible issue.

I'm a Savage shooter personally though I do like the 700 series I picked up my 10FP LE-2 at dealer cost so it was a no Brainer for me.
