Morning All,

I don't know how many of you travel to an EU Country but I would like to ask if you do travel and for work or other reasons you take firearms with you would it be easier if all EU countries had the same legislation regarding the carrying and transportation/shipping of firearms?

Hugs,
Kerry

We can't get the United States to agree on Concealed carry 1 state to the next. Some states when I travel I have to carry it in a locked box and ammo separate. It is ridiculous. We do have 36 states with repropocity, where my Arizona CCW license is good in their states. It is really a nightmare at times, but was getting better til the liberals elected their Messiah as POTUS!

Would it be easier if a Federal Law was implemented or is that not possible because each State wants control of it's laws and not risk a totally Fedralised Law making system.

In the mid 1990's I did a paper that is held in the Law Library of Congress on Firearms Licensing in the UK and was surprised that the criteria in the US for even getting a license is varied State by State. I'm really going to start a riot by asking this question but in Europe the image of the NRA is that it is 'All Powerful' does the NRA even get involved in this type of issue?

As an aside, now Obama is in power do you think more Fredral Laws will be implemented eating into the independance of State Legislation?

kerry Obozo is trying

very trying actually. He is trying to impose his ban all guns onto everybody. We are the States and would like to keep it that way. Some states are even proclaiming their sovereignty from the federal government, which has gotten too powerful.

Federal power works if you trust the federal government.

We see a lot of abuses of power in Europe that is why I think a Federal Europe may be the best bet. I'm off campaigning tonight, I know it's hiking it down with rain here but I do love politics.

See everyone tomorrow.

Hugs

Federal gun laws

are a violation of the Constitution. I'm not sure what they don't understand about "...shall not be infringed.", but it is irritating. States can, of course, decide how they want to run things, but I disagree with any concealed carry licensing requirement at all.
