i have never owned one yet but my two friends that own a gun shop say they are excellent guns frank says its like if u go out and buy a new pickup,your gonna have a few issues and that taurus warranty is awesome no crap jst send it they fix it and send it back

Look, I try not to be a gun snob, and I try to look at a weapon upon its own merits. I have handled a Taurus Judge but never fired it. I own several Taurus handguns and have taken many deer with my .44 magnum. I like it and love hunting with it. I see the Taurus handguns as being well made and the warranty means that they will stand behind there products. Dont get me wrong, I would love it if someone saw fit to give me a .44 magnum Smith & Wesson. I can also see the difference between the two, but I also have to count my pennies.
I do know that My PT99 is smoother and more accurate than my buddies SIG. He is also impressed with its handling characteristics and was considering adding one to his collection.
I just buy and use the guns I feel comfortable with and try to show others why I have choosen them for myself.
