i had taurus pt840 but got rid of it. the overall design was great. ambidextrous everything... the mag catch, slide release even the thumb safety and decocker was all ambidextrous. but keeping with taurus' tradition, every so often they produce a few lemons and i ended up with one. had to send it back 3 damn times. so i said screw it and got rid of it. when it comes to taurus, i'll just buy their revolvers.

It's going pretty good. I haven't been on mostly because I was looking into getting some land and I think I've found what I'm looking for. I Hope things are going well for you.

Yeah, things are good. I'm looking for land myself, but I am putting that on hold for now since my son is 14 and I have to think about college.

I have the 845, it had a couple of minor problems so I sent it back. Since I got it back it has performed flawlessly I own several Taurus and this is the first I had to send back. It is probably my favorite out all I own, I like the ambi safety, hammer, second strike capability, and the overall feel of the gun. It is very accurate since I got it back, I think Taurus is going away from the Heinie sights. The last 2 guns I have bought from them have had the Novak sights. I would give it a B+.

The nice thing

abut sending a gun back,it goes thru their gunsmith shop and the gunsmith goes thru the gun.I have returned 2 Rugers,a 357 Blackhawk and a .44 Superblackhawk, both came back with new parts(internal & external) and are fine shooters....and free hell can't do any better than that.

i tried being reasonable,i didn't like it, NRA LIFE MEMBER,USMC VETERAN
