Taurus Judge
The judge is a 5 shot revolver that shoots both .45 Colt and .410 bore shotshells. i have noticed that guns lot doesn't have many revolver pics and vids and i think this is an awosome gun. it isn't very accurate but the actual inovation is a kick ass thing and i think it is a great gun (i have 2) i am wondering if anyone has an comments on this gun. thanks If guns are outlawed I'LL BE AN OUTLAW!!!!!!!!!
If guns kill people then beds cause pregnancy.

Nice little gun. The one I'm use to see is only a 2 shot Judge pistol not this new one.

I used to look down on taurus guns, and now I own two. THE 24/7 PRO .45 AND THE rOSSI .38 SPECIAL REVOLVER.bOTH ARE GREAT GUNS. tAURUS HAS COME A LONG WAY.tHEY MAKE VERY GOOD GUNS AT A GREAT PRICE WITH THE LIFETIME WARRENTY. CAN'T BEAT THAT.i SHOT THE JUDGE AND ITS SMOOTH AS BUTTER.I JUST DID'NT LIKE THE FEEL IN MY HAND.bUT I AM LOOKIN AT THE TRACKER IN A 357.bUT NOT FOR AWHILE.MY WIFE WOULD KILL ME. I'VE BOUGHT TO GUNS IN 3 WEEKS.LOL
BluesHarp
a Taurus PT-92 AF and a Rossi .38 special and both were good guns. After fine tuning, they both held a good group and didn't give me any trouble. I can't knock either one of them.
Ebear
I JUST PICKED UP THE .38 TODAY, SHE'S A PRETTY NICKLE PLATE WITH BROWN WOOD GRIPS AND THE 6 INCH VENTED BARREL, CAN'T WAIT TILL SUNDAY TO SHOOT.
BluesHarp
a stainless snub nose with the wooden grips. After a gunsmith tuned it up and took the burrs out of the barrel, it shot like a dream. No problems out of it. I sometimes wish I had it back. It was good to conceal on hot Alabama summer days.
Ebear
MY ROSSI IS STAINLESS ALSO NOT NICKLE. I HAD A BRAIN CRAMP.BUT IT IS A VERY COOL LOOKIN GUN.I LOVE THE VENTS ON THE BARREL.

Ebear, have you seen the video's I posted?

i like the newest version that has a longer cylinder to shoot 3 inch 410 shotgun shells.they say with the new one you can shoot both length 410 shells.i think for a concealed carry gun,if i had the cash,i would buy one and load it with #4 shot.
scudrunnernrh
i've only seen pictures and heared of this gun, but i can def see how it would be a popular, CCW choice.

I have been drooling over the thought of the 45/410 for some months now... my wife loves her 410 long barrel...i think i'll put it on my christmas wish list!
joeosborn65
Girlfriend has one of these, You couldn't hit an elephant in the @$$ at 5 yards with it. got to looking at it and the barrel isn't seated properly and shoots WAY RIGHT!
MattyTheJet
I have owned several Taurus weapons, currently own one, and have never had the first problem.

Joe, were not attacking you here.. welcome to the site.. that being said i've had the same experiences as Matt. owned a number of Taurus revolvers, bought the wife her T82 when bout 10 years ago, this was my second "gift" Taurus, shoot maybe 7-8 different ones. A guy i in my area that i see at our range every month or so has both the judge, and the circuit judge (rifle config.) and i just got rid of my brothers T92 copy of the Beretta copy not long ago.. In every case they were the same quality as any piece i own..
I wonder if maybe this was a matter of the rear sight being off a bit.. the shorter the barrel the more the effect from the site..smiling and betting money theirs a half dozen of you our their thinking this over.. Yep guys trust me shorter the bbl the more effect to P. O. A. Bet if Joe could get that rear sight over to the L a bit that elephant would get a round in the @$$.. Move sight, change elephant target to zombie, your set.
MattyTheJet
But, seriously, I think you're probably right, Greg. Good luck, Joe!
joeosborn65
The thing I noticed is the barrel looks as if it is not shimmed or seated properly and that is throwing the front sight out of wack to the side. Have to look at it when I get time to get some work done on the guns. Been crazy at work and not a lot of play time. Have to play with it and see what I can come up with. Just know if you look at it muzzle first, you can see a noticable alignment problem with the barrel.
MattyTheJet
When work keeps me away from my guns! GRRRRRR! Anyway, good luck fixing your gun, hopefully you'll get it straightened out.
greg az
Obviously it's more than the rear sight or their wouldn't be the "visual" that Joes describing.. Sounds like he knows what he's looking at, and sounds like maybe this is a case of the bbl being outa "wack".. On the "wack" thing.. yeah i know you guys hate it when i go all technical, but sometimes it's necessary..

S&W does it?
The reason I ax (ebonics for ask) is that once the barrel threads engage the frame threads everything from the firing pin to the muzzle are aligned, aren't they? In a S&W a barrel being misaligned or out of whack would require a visably warped or bent frame wouldn't it?
I don't know, just ax'in :<)
Any x-spurts out there?
MattyTheJet
I would think it would be, since Taurus revolvers are S&W patents to begin with (or at least were until very recently.) Makes you wonder what kind of problem might exist with said gun.

i have several taurus and rossi firearms and am pleased with everything the company produces, just wish they were american owned that would be the icing on the cake. I gave 300 dollars for a bran new rossi .38 special that goes everywhere my truck does. it has slaughtered more than a few cattle and dispatched a couple snakes without the first problem. that being said you cant go wrong for the money when compared to a smith equivalent .410-45 and the warranty is lifetime
