TAURUS revolvers
Seriously I got a kinda new TAURUS .45 ACP, my OL LADY has a TAURUS S&W Police .38 SPL look alike from the 1970's or so. Both guns sometimes in double action the cyclinder kinda jams and skips a cyclinder hole leaving a live round behind. Any one got any comments on TAURUS |

The revolvers are old and probably are out of timing. The hand inside that pushes the ratchet is also probably worn out. the cylinder is probably loose too.. do not shoot these guns anymore exspecially if you plan on using them for self defense. Go out and by a used smith&wesson if you can't afford a new one. Trade the old guns if you can but you won't get much for them. I assume these guns you bought where bought used, if you did you got ripped off. old taurus's are junk.

It was my falt I did not word my question/comment correctly; I bought a NIB TAURUS TRACKER .45 ACP two years ago, and my OL LADY has a TAURUS .38 SPL. over 30 years old, and they BOTH have the same problem, when shooting double action sometimes the cyclinder aparently dosent catch, and then you have to pull the trigger again skiping a cyclinder hole leaving one unspent round behind. I think new and old TAURUSES are junk. The TAURUS TRACKER .45 ACP got good reviews from the gun magasines when it came out, so I bought one, GUN MAGASINES must get kick backs? " where are all of the TAURUS collecters any way"? THANKS ELDON

Only good thing about the taurus revolvers that they do have a life time warranty. Hope you filled out the card and sent it in. The gun shop you bought it from should accomandate and send it to the nearest usa warranty shop for you.If not ship via ups.
